2024 Knights of Columbus Scholarships 

K of C Council 10961 is pleased to announce that we will be awarding up to $3,500 in private scholarships this spring.  Scholarships may be awarded in various denominations from $500 up to $2,000 per scholar.

Eligibility:

•       Scholarships are available for college, trade school, or Catholic high school expenses expected to be incurred in the 2024-2025 academic years.

•       Participation limited to members of K of C Council 10961 and Nativity of Our Lord parishioners and their families between the ages of 14 and 25.

•       Participants must submit all the requested information to be eligible for the scholarship award.

•       K of C will conduct in-person interviews with finalists.

Submittal Requirements 

•       Participants must provide one copy of their most current transcripts.

•       Submit an essay of not less than five hundred (500) and no more than one thousand (1.000) words addressing the items below: 

o   What are your academic achievements and/or career goals? o How have you contributed to your community (civil & religious)?

o   Describe how your faith impacts your life.

•       Letters of reference (2 maximum, no relatives) are optional.

•       Documentation must be received no later than March 31, 2024.  Submittals are required to be submitted by e-mail to:  communication@nativitykofc.org 

•       Final candidates will be interviewed by the scholarship committee. 

Criteria for Award:

Merit based scholarship award will be based on the following:

•       Academic performance.

•       Community service.

•       Extracurricular Activities (Including athletic performance & artistic pursuits)

Notice of award and disbursement of funds will be completed in early May 2024.
