Douglas "Doug" Parsons died on December 30th, 2013 at St. Anthony Hospital. He was 51. Doug was born on January 9th 1962 to the late Don and Jan Parsons previously of Northglenn, Colorado. He graduated from Northglenn High School in 1980 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1988. He is a combat veteran of Desert Storm and was proud to serve his country.
Doug was employed by the Knights of Columbus organization and he served the Order with distinction as a field agent, an assistant general agent, a field director, and as a general agent.
Doug deeply loved his kids, his family, his profession and his church. His passions were music and playing golf. He was a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn. He is survived by his wife Jennifer of Westminster; his daughters Paige Parsons (25), Kassie Parsons (20) and Jasmine Parsons (18) and his son Josiah (14), his brother Dirck Parsons of Northglenn, his sisters Julie Maydew (Mike) of Longmont and Jill Parsons (Alain Brule) of Northglenn, his god brother JH Bridge (Raina) of Henderson his nephews Tyler, Austin, Kelly, Dylan, Coady, Mason, Joe, Andy, Jesse and niece Candace.
